Lucy Ratcliffe

Hello! I am one of the new owners of Signmaster Systems, along with Samantha Kehoe, we both ran the print business opposite Signmaster for 7 years before buying Signmaster. I have admired Signmaster from across the courtyard, our print business purchased all our hardware and consumables from Signmaster over the years and so already knew a lot about the business before taking over. Although buying Signmaster has now made us a re-seller over a printer, the experience we have gained running the print business will be invaluable to Signmaster’s customers going forward – after all we have been there and done it too! Sam & I have some great ideas for Signmaster going forward and very much look forward to the next chapter in Signmaster’s history.



Sam Kehoe

Apart from my Mother, the rest of the world calls me Sam. I’m one of the Directors at  Signmaster Systems Ltd. I am extremely excited about our new venture with Signmaster, and the direction in which we hope to take the business. My aim will be to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience, and that we implement new ways to continue supporting our customers.

Hardware & Software Manager

Hi, I’m Jay the Hardware Manager here at Signmaster. If you are looking to purchase or upgrade any hardware be-it printers, cutters or software, I am the man you need to speak to.

I have been at Signmaster for some time now and one of the longest serving members of the team. I pride myself in offering honest, impartial advice and building lasting customer relationships.

I am here to act as a consultant and help you grow your business by making sure you invest in the best solution for yours and your business’s needs.
When I’m not in work you I’m either spending time with my two kids (my mini me’s) who I am a very proud daddy to. When I’m not with the kids I’m at the gym, I also enjoy spinning, kettles and circuit training. I have a passion for Thai boxing ! Other hobbies and interests include fishing, walking and cycling.
I’m a massive foodie and am mostly found with some kind of food in my hand…


Glen Nunkoo
Inks & Media Manager 

Glen is the Inks & Media Manager at Signmaster and is responsible for ensuring you purchase the best consumables products for your needs. Glen has extensive knowledge in the wide-format print industry, having previously worked as Dealer/Sales Manager for Roland.

“I have been working in the printing industry for around 15 years and I joined Signmaster in February 2017. It’s a really exciting time to be at Signmaster, the future is looking bright and I’m looking forward to helping all of our customers grow their business along with us. We are introducing new products all the time including Signmaster’s new branded signmaking tools and a new range of pull-up and pop up displays.

Sarah Challinor
Marketing & Design Executive 

Sarah is the Marketing & Design Executive at Signmaster and is responsible for continuous awareness of the Signmaster brand. Sarah works closely with the Sales team to promote all of Signmaster’s products, services and special offers via email, web, social media, print and exhibitions. Sarah also works with the Print Room to ensure all design requirements are met before the printing process.

“I am very excited for the future of Signmaster. The recent rebrand has given Signmaster a fresh new look and there’s lots more in store including a new website! The aim of our new website is to give visitors a better experience, some of the new features include a buy online option and access to technical support. We have also launched a new incentive this year with the Christmas Advent Calendar prize draw. Matt Wright
Deputy Technical Manager

Matt is the Deputy Technical Manager at Signmaster and is responsible for organising and completing printer installations and services as well as providing free telephone technical support to customers.

Matt has worked at Signmaster for 4 and a half years and joined the team after completing a BTEC Level 3 in Engineering. During his employment at Signmaster, Matt has also completed various training including a Level 2 in Team Leadership and Management.

“The Technical team are often out visiting customers, servicing and installing machines as well giving advice and guidance so it is important that we provide a great service. With a focus of enhancing the customer experience, we have lots in store for the department over the next few months including expanding the Technical team, applying new support systems and a support section on the new website.”

Kate Neiddu
Hardware & Software Sales

Kate works in Hardware & Software Sales, specialising in small hardware and finishing products such as heat presses, board cutters, cutter plotters, entry level solvent printers and the accompanying software. In addition to her direct sales role, Kate also works closely with the Hardware Manager, the Technical team and our suppliers to ensure the operation between sale and delivery/installation runs efficiently. Kate is responsible for raising hardware invoices, purchase orders and monitoring the customer experience from order to delivery.

“I have worked with new Signmaster owners, Lucy and Sam since 2014. I started my journey as Office Manager and became Print Room Administration Manager during the transition to Signmaster. I really enjoy a challenge so the opportunity to join the Sales team has given me the chance to develop my skills and knowledge in the wide-format industry. I have learned a lot about new products, technologies and printing processes and I’m very excited for the future of the sales team at Signmaster.”

Sam Hilton
Warehouse Manager

Sam is the Warehouse Manager at Signmaster Systems and is responsible for the smooth running of all goods in and goods out including packing and despatching orders across the UK and worldwide, stock taking and re-order reports. Sam also works closely with the Accounts and Inks and Media departments to ensure all your orders are processed and sent out correctly and works with the Engineering department to prepare printer installs.

“Before joining Signmaster in August 2016 I worked as a Dispatch Manager for a Visitor Management company and I was looking for a new challenge. When the opportunity appeared to run a warehouse I jumped at the chance! As well as developing and implementing new systems and procedures at Signmaster, I have also been able to complete a number of training courses including IOSH, fire safety, first aid and I look forward to achieving a general Certificate in NEBOSH next year.”

Gary Roberts
Print Room Manager

Hi I’m Gary I am the Print Room manager here at Signmaster. I oversea production of all the printed work for our customers as well as helping out with any problems or samples that may come up.
I really enjoy the role as it gives me a great amount of satisfaction and it is a very practical based role. It is also an ever-changing role with new challenges every day.
Outside of work I enjoy cooking, spending quality time with my family and the occasional binge watch.


Geoff Powell
Technical Engineer

Hi, I'm Geoff. I am a Technical Engineer. I'm the man who will often pick up Technical Support Calls, repairs printers, service and refurb second hand machines. I like the variety of my role and enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and repairing. 

Olivia Davey
Print Technician

Olivia is the Print Room Technician at Signmaster and works alongside the Print Room Manager to print and produce high quality signage and display as a back-up service to Signmaster customers. Olivia works to deadlines ensuring all artwork passes quality control before being printed as well as maintaining the printers, stock checking and ordering materials.

Olivia began her career in 2013 at Print Monkey - the company Lucy and Sam owned before buying Signmaster.

“I started working at Print Monkey as an Apprentice in Printing and Graphic Communications after studying Business, Photography and IT at College. I always had an interest in print and decided it would be great to earn while I was learning. Since completing my Apprenticeship and working full-time in a printing environment, I have gained some invaluable experience. The move over to Signmaster has been even more beneficial as I’ve learned how to use more machines, software and my responsibilities have increased as our job roles have expanded.”

Jessica Liebich
Accounts Assistant

Since joining Signmaster Systems my enjoyment in talking with and helping customers on a day to day basis has grown considerably, providing an exceptional service is important to me and all staff here. I started off in general administration before I caught the accounting bug working alongside Rachel as she trains me; you can usually find me alongside a pile of paperwork or seeing to customer and supplier queries.

I am currently studying for my AAT Level 2 in bookkeeping and bookkeeping controls, I will the take this further to become a qualified AAT level 4 professional which I find very exciting and a great opportunity.

Outside of work my friends would say my two big hobbies are skiing and of course the rugby, you’ll catch me at the six nations and under armour series every time. The one thing I couldn’t imagine life without is my blue fronted Amazonian parrot Lola, I get the pleasure of her singing and talking to me every day.

Sal Salisbury
Business Administration Apprentice (Inks & Media)

Sal is the Business Administration Apprentice in the Inks & Media department and works closely with the Inks & Media Manager and Accounts department to process orders and ensure all paperwork is ordered and filed correctly.

Before joining the Signmaster team in January, Sal studied Media and Business Studies at sixth form and on completion of his A levels, decided an Apprenticeship was the next step for him.

“I saw the position at Signmaster and applied straight away. I have always been interested in cars and thought the wrapping and decal side of the industry was really interesting. Although I have only been here for a short period of time, the team have welcomed me in and I’ve learned a lot about the industry. I have really enjoyed the sales side of the Inks & Media department and building customer relationships. In addition to my role in the Inks & Media department, I have also completed my First Aid and Fire Marshal training and I’m looking forward to more training in the future.”
